Between 2020 and 2022, 80 Wayúu leaders participated in our training programs, reaching more than 25 indigenous communities in Manaure, Riohacha, Albania, Maicao and Jardín (Antioquia).
Between 2020 and 2023:
65% of the members of the Community Savings and Loan Associations have accessed microcredits with the resources saved by the communities.
We have encouraged the habit of saving by supporting the formation of 8 Community Savings and Loan Associations, made up of 125 people, with an average savings of COP$ 550,000 per month per group and a total annual savings of COP$ 7,000,000 per group, equivalent to an annual savings of COP $45,000,000.
Marketing opportunities have been created for 3 handicraft associations with allies in Australia with sales of COP $30,000,000.
Between April and May 2023 we will deliver COP $65,000,000 that were provided by our partner Kula Loans from the Netherlands as a revolving fund to benefit seven ACAPS.
